How do we make a purchase?

Making a purchase is a straight forward process. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to purchase into your shopping cart.
Please check you have chosen the correct quantity and the correct option (where applicable).After you have finished your selections, click on
'MY SHOPPING CART', where you should then click on the link to view your shopping cart.
At this point you will be asked to complete
STEP 2 - the Shipping and Payment Choice page. Once you have chosen the correct postage, you should click on NEXT.
At this point you will be asked to complete STEP 3 - the Customer Data page.
Note this page is also where you should include the personalised text that you would like us to use for your items purchased.

Once you are happy with the content, click NEXT after which payment will be need to be made.

Please note that if your item is not in stock, we will contact you via e-mail advising how long the delay will be with the option to cancel your order and receive a full refund if you would rather not wait.

Where do we input the personalised text?

Personalised text that you wish to use for any relevant item you wish to purchase, should be input at STEP 3 on the Customer Data page within the checkout process.
This page appears after you have added the item to your shopping cart and then completed the postage option which can be found in STEP 2 (Shipment and Payment Choice).
Note this will be required before you are redirected to PayPal to pay for your purchase.

Can I change something within the product detail which is not an existing option i.e. colour?

We will always try to please our customers and accommodate all types of request whenever we can. Please ensure that you contact us via the CONTACT US page on our website before submitting an order.
However, this may not always be possible and hence we will send an e-mail reply to you advising accordingly.
If it is possible, we will respond via e-mail and advise as to how to submit the order. Note that there may be an additional charge to pay which, if applicable, will be communicated to you in our e-mail response to you prior to you placing the order.

What type of payments do you accept?

We accept secure credit and debit card payments through PayPal. You will be re-directed from our site to PayPal when completing your payment before being directed back to our site once completed. When your order has been processed you will receive a confirmation of payment e-mail from "Handcrafted by Maria" providing a full breakdown of any item purchased and any personalised order requirements you have requested. This is your proof of purchase.

Do you post to countries outside of the United Kingdom?

No, not currently.

How will my items be sent in the post?

All of our items will be delivered via Royal Mail / courier. Prices shown are for UK delivery. Please note that we only deliver within the United Kingdom. Items will only be dispatched after payment clears. We aim to despatch to you within 5 working days of cleared payment. We cannot be held responsible for any delays incurred by Royal Mail / courier.
Note that items purchased which cumulatively total less than 100 (excluding delivery charges) will incur a delivery charge of 4.95. This is to cover postage and packaging costs.
Note as a special promotional offer, if your total order (excluding delivery charges) is 100 or more, then there will be no delivery charge.

Can I collect in person?

Yes, by prior arrangement only. You will need to contact us via e-mail first before purchase.

What is your refund policy?

We want to ensure that all of our customers are happy with their purchases. In the unlikely event that you are not, please contact us via e-mail immediately. We will do as much as we can to resolve any dispute.Unfortunately due to the items being handmade to order, we are unable to provide refunds unless there has been an error made by us, however we are confident we can find a solution to any problem encountered.
It is important that the customer checks their order throroughly for correct quantity, product type and any elements of personalising etc. before confirming the order. Note that the customer's submitted order forms the contract with Handcrafted by Maria and, as such, we cannot be held responsible for any errors made by the customer on the form.
If an error has been made by us, we will liaise with the customer to find the best solution to the problem encountered.

How will the item be packaged?

All of our items are carefully and appropriately packaged to ensure that they arrive at their destination in a satisfactory condition.

What is your privacy policy?

All personal information you provide to "Handcrafted by Maria" will be used to complete your order or to contact you regarding any queries and any future offers. We will not provide your details to any other third party other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Should you wish to not receive any information from "Handcrafted by Maria" regarding future promotions, then please type "NO" in the relevant box at checkout when asked this question at checkout upon placing an order.

Can we leave feedback?

Yes, it is always nice to hear customer's feedback. We do reserve the right whether to publish any feedback you provide. We will also ensure that we take all of the necessary steps to remove any identifiable details before publishing.
